Donated to the Archives by Arthur McLean in 2003. The maps were in the basement of his law firm's building on John Street. Mr. McLean's father Alan McLean took over the law firm from Arthur Burwash who was the lawyer for McLachlin Bros.

Preliminary survey by Ontario Land Surveyor E. Wilkie registered in Almonte,Ontario completed September 2 1893. Survey is of property next to Richard Macnamara's which was later purchased by Charles Macnamara.

Also contained in box is a copy of the Robert Scheel Award Drian dated June 2 1903.

Detailed description of the road from the County Line in the east to Waba in the west. Shows parts of the “Waba subdivision” ( Mary Street), Waba Creek. Very precise measurements around the Boys property in Waba (stone house).
