Photograph of the Canadian Girls in Training group from Ottawa and the Ottawa Valley. The group went to Gananoque and took a boat to the island, where they camped in tents at Beau Rivage in 1936. The photograph shows Catherine McNaughton, second from the right, second row from the top. She was from Arnprior and was leader for one year.
Included with the photograph is a note about the members of the CGIT group in the 1930s. Senior CGIT members listed include: Jean MacLean, Vic Handford, Madge Malloch, Evelyn Smith and Ethel McKay. Junior CGIT members include: Rith Pritchard, Irene Annis, Kathleen Burns, Eileen Peener, Margaret MacDonald, Lorne Powell, Catherine McNaughton, Delta McConnel and Ruth Frieday. Senior Leader: Mrs Isobel Stavenow. Junior Leaders: Flora Macdonald and Ruby McKerracher.
