Description
The Braeside Inn was built by Gillies Bros. in 1888 to provide room and board for workers who needed seasonal accommodation. The Inn expanded in sections in response to Gillies Bros. increased workforce. The western section contained a medical clinic and a small library. Administrative staff from Gillies Bros. office often ate their noon meal in the large dining room located on the main floor. It was demolished by Gerald Desjardins in March 1979.

Description
In 1868, William Baker (1836-1909) established the Dochart Brick, Tile and Terra-Cotta Works in Mansfield, near Arnprior. He had previously operated a brick making enterprise at the location of the present Arnprior Town Hall from 1863 until he moved to the site in Mansfield where he could use the Dochart Creek for his brick works. In 1901, William Baker's son George Edward Baker (1877-1951) took over the business. In November 1944, the large drying building was destroyed by fire. George E. Baker sold the business in 1947 to John S. McKay who re-named it “Dochart Brick and Tile Co. Ltd.”in 1951. The plant was rebuilt to specialize in the installation and manufacturing of clay drainage tile. In 1980 the name changed to Dochart Clay Products.

Constructed beginning in 1853, Daniel McLachlin moved his family to the stone house known as "The Hill" in 1859. In 1933, it was sold to R.M. Gemmel and known as Raithmuir. It was then sold to Colonel W.H Hadley, who sold it in 1946 to the Oblate Order of Mary Immaculate. In 1975, it was developed into a spiritual retreat centre known as the Galilee Community. It is now the Galilee Centre.
