As per Renfrew Mercury Article on Feb. 23, 2012 on Walter Louis (Louis) Brown - Dr. Walter Brown and his wife, Eulalia, had 7 children, Walter Louis, James, Joseph, Paulina, Teresa, Kay and Bliss. Louis was killed in World War ll on May 24, 1941 - flew spitfires and lost at sea. His brother James Angus died later in the war and buried in Surrey England. A third brother, Joseph, survived the war. Louis' wife was Margo. Another brother Bliss founded Brown's Airport that is now the Pembroke & Area Airport (as of 2012).
As per Renfrew Mercury Article of Nov. 15, 2012, Pilot Louis Brown's name is now listed on Kingston's new memorial wall.
