The file contains a photocopy of an article by Kathryn Newson in RECOLLECTIONS, Vol. 1, No. 1, page 47. Also: an account of the “Riots” from a restaurant menu in Carleton Place. One person involved in putting down the 1824 “Riots” was Alexander Stewart of Black’s Corners, who later founded the Stewart Brothers enterprises in Waba.
