Donated by Mervin Hall in 2013 after finding these documents in the Ray family home in White Lake.
Scope and Content
This small fonds contains three items:
1. Hand drawn map of White Lake Ontario by Douglas Ray Feb 14 1963 showing various hunt camps, islands, creeks, water depth. Also shows stocking amounts of pickeral, large mouth bass, and small mouth bass made in 1963.
2. Marriage certificate of Ephraim Ray and Ellan Cochrane in Arnprior, 13 December 1908. Witnesses were Jean Cochrane and U. E. Parsons. Officiant: William Wallace Peck (Pastor of St. Andrew's Church).
3. Hand printed and illuminated certificate of appreciation to Ephraim Ray for his part in rescuing train wreck victims at Webbwood (Toronto) dated January 28, 1910. He was presented with a locket as a momento of the occassion.
