Brian Rafter, a long-time resident of Braeside worked at Gillies Mill and Boeing, Arnprior. His parents Cecil and Amelia (Gibeau) Rafter owned and operated Rafter's Gas Station for many years (Robbin's in 2017). Brian Rafter passed away on August 2017 at age 77.
Scope and Content
Fonds consists of a CD containing 24 scanned photographs of Braeside and area. Other topics include an Ottawa river raft run to Red Pine Bay, Gillies Mill demolition, hockey team, broomball team, Rafter's Gas Station in Braeside and St. Alexander's Church in Sand Point, etc.
