Acquisition Source
While conducting research for his book "McNab - The Township", Peter Hessel created many files which he donated to the ADA in 1994 along with other historical information about the Arnprior area. This formed the basis of the Peter Hessel collection. The collection expanded over time and continued to be added to on a regular basis as an "open" collection based on subject rather than provenance until Hessel's death in 2020. The photograph album was donated to the ADA in 2006.
