Scope and Content
Scrapbook contains a series of articles by Harry J. Walker (Ottawa Journal) called Ottawa Valley Days. Articles covers lumbering history, Chief McNab, and other matters of local interest including the horse railway at Fitzroy. Scrapbook also contains colour and black & white post cards showing scenes of Arnprior. Clippings from Arnprior Chronicle about the history of area are also included. The reminiscences of W.J. Styles (former editor of the Arnprior Chronicle) appear on page 55-57. Pasted to the front cover of the scrapbook is an image of Arnprior's Town Hall circa 1940. A typewritten "Brief History of MacNab", written by R. A. Jeffery (publisher of the Arnprior Chronicle) appears page 1- 13.
