A letter asking Hugh to detail the quantity of pork and flour that would be needed for the season and business with Hugh McLachlin stating that the Hugh was not to use any of the flour sent up. McLachlin concluded the letter with an update on Burwash's health, which is no better, and that the doctor said he could not live long.
