Custodial History
The records of this collection were created throughout Larry Hebert’s membership with the Knights of Columbus. Beginning in 1964 when he first became a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 2082, Larry compiled a number of records up to 2015, before his death in 2018. After his death, his wife Joan Hebert called Wayne Pickering, an active member of the Knights of Columbus Council #2082 and asked if he would be interested in Larry’s documents, as Wayne was in the process of writing the history of the Knights of Columbus Council #2082. Wayne Pickering referred Joan Hebert to Rod McCallum, another active a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #2082, as well as being a volunteer at the Arnprior & Braeside/McNab Archives. On 15 June 2020, Rod McCallum collected the box of documents, photographs, newspaper clippings, certificates and other materials.
