Two letters from the Deputy Registrar in Pembroke dated 1976 relate to land mortgaged and sold by Alexander McDonell of Sand Point. This file also includes a letter dated 1849 from Janette and James Kirkman of Jefferson Barracks, MO to John Meachie and John McKenzie of Perth, District of Bathurst. Another letter from J. Jamieson (a solicitor in Perth) to DeRenzy dated 1884 is concerning the dissolution of DeRenzy’s store in Sand Point.

Land Records and Insurance Policies of Edward DeRenzie 1864 - 1886. This file also contains a copy of the will of the late Neil Robertson dated 1886. An indenture dated 1880 between Edward DeRenzie and William Proctor of Ogdensburg New York which appears in this file was for two thousand pieces of Black Ash Saw Logs which were “lying and being in a boom on the Ottawa River at a point known as Roddy’s Bay...” The indenture features a stylized E & D (for Edward DeRenzie) that was DeRenzie’s own log mark.
Miscellaneous file containing photographs of the DeRenzy sisters Nina and & Minnie outside their home on John Street (circa 1930 and 1910) and newspaper clippings about the DeRenzy home (later Lang family) on John Street in Arnprior and an unsigned, 1937 Christmas card from the Officer Commanding and Officers of the Lanark and Renfrew Scottish Regiment (Highlanders) which features a photograph of Lieut. Col. Alexander McDonell, Officer Commanding, 1st Renfrew Regiment 1846.
