Scope and Content
File consists of a photocopy of a newspaper clipping from the Clackmannshire Advertiser in Alloa, Scotland, in the possession of Brian Bean, owner of the Pakenham General Store. In a letter to a friend, Rev. Henderson wrote: “a few years ago I formed a congregation in the then hamlet of Arnprior. That village is rising rapidly into a large town, and the congregation is now building a handsome church. In Parkenham [sic — Pakenham], I built up a congregation, and procured the erection of a nice place of worship. In Torbolton ... third congregation.” Attached to the copy is a copy of pages 159 and 160, McNab — The Township, indicating that The Reverend Henderson must have been involved with one of the groups mentioned there.
