1. Handwritten notes and sketches by Peter Hessel and others regarding old lime kilns located in the bush, on the East half of Lot 7, Concession 5, McNab. They were brought to Peter’s attention in 1993 by Dave Forrest and Bonnie Tripp. Peter located D.T. Trudel of the National Museum of Science and Technology, who sent some information. These lime kilns date from the early settlement period. They are in remarkably good condition, considering their age. To locate them again, the help of Dave Forrest, Bonnie Tripp or land owner Boyd McCord would be required.
2. Eight colour photos taken by Peter Hessel in 1993, showing the lime kilns, including one photo with Bonnie Tripp, who found these kilns.
3. Photocopy of pages 210-11, McNab — The Township, regarding the Canada Lime Co. Ltd. in Sand Point and its large kiln. That particular lime kiln was made into a home/studio by Delbert Juby. See also file ”Juby, Mrs. Alice”.
