1. Handwritten letter dated Magnetawan, Dec. 7th, 1877, by Alex Stewart, to “Dear Cousin”. Possibly, this Alex was the son of John Stewart of Robertson’s Corners, writing to one of his cousins in Waba. He refers to another Alex who is “laid up a good deal with his leg” (another relative?). The writer was laying out and planning a mill site.
2. Handwritten (scribbled) notes by Peter Hessel, from information by Margaret Stewart of Waba, regarding Stewart family connections. “Stewart house” means the house built by John Stewart in Waba (in 2004 the home of Judy Cerigo), “cottage that now belongs to the Wilsons” means the house on Highland Road in Waba, which originally stood where 3811 now stands and which was moved one lot west in 1929 to make way for the new house which was built by Duncan Gordon Stewart in 1929/30 and is now (since 1989) owned by the Hessels).
3. Communion certificate, Margaret Stewart (St. Andrew’s U.C.,White Lake, July 19/31).
4. Postcard of MacDonald College in Ste.-Anne-de-Bellevue (Montreal), where Margaret Stewart was dietitian and an occasional lecturer (on food and diets).
5. Photocopy of obituary of Mrs. Duncan Stewart (Ethel Stewart nee Stewart), widow of Duncan Gordon Stewart of Waba, mother of Duncan E. Stewart and Margaret Stewart of Waba. Ethel Stewart died at the Arnprior hospital at the age of 82 on March 3, 1964.

Balintockach, Borenich (in the district of Blair Atholl). Croftcarnach. Uchdnaneitag. Mr. Cairnie correctly identified the area where Alexander Stewart and his ancestors originated. Note: Peter Hessel has an alphabetical record of Stewart ancestors and relatives on a computer file.
