The present church building was consecrated as St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in 1881 (built on the site of an earlier frame church). The congregation became St. Andrew’s United Church upon “Union” in 1925, although some members chose not to join “Union” but to remain Presbyterians. They founded a new St. Andrew’s Presbyterian congregation and in 1929 built a new church in White Lake (which in 1963 became the Women’s Institute Hall).
