Norman Wesley Kinkaid was born in 1926. He was active in local politics, St. Andrew's United Church and the Lions Club of Arnprior among other community groups. He also served as Reeve of McNab Township in the early 1980's. He married Jean Carmicheal of Braeside and died in October 2002.

Scope and Content
Fonds consists of 4 Personal Scrap books marked 'W5' (who, what, where, when and why) which were compiled by Norman Kinkaid between 1950 and 1990. Scrap books include newspaper clippings, photos, pamphlets, cards etc. They cover a wide range of subject matter from politics to sports to human interest stories.
Volume 1: 1940-1980; Volume 2: 1981-1984; Volume 3: 1984-1990; Volume 4: 1991-1998. An index for Volumes 1 (pages 1 to 312) & Volume 2 (pages 313 to 522) is included at the front of Volume 2.
