History / Biography
Roger and Gillian Danby own property on the Madawaska River, just south of the bridge, at 143 Russell Street North. Most of the slides are made from photos supplied by their neighbour, Ben Frieday (an old-time resident of Arnprior; former employee of McLachlin Brothers) who resides at 146 Russell Street North. The Danby site rests on land formerly owned by the McLachlin Brothers.
