1. Clipping of picture and caption from Chronicle, March 12, 1964: “Legion Presents Flag”. Opening of Education Week at Pine Grove School on March 2, 1964. Ian Malloch (Legion President) presented a new flag (the Red Ensign) to be raised at the school.
2. Program for the Dedication of the Bell from Pine Grove School, June 24, 1973, at Waba Cottage Museum. The program also mentions “Clay Valley School House” earlier known as “German Settlement School House” [S.S. No. 15), which had already been moved to Waba Cottage Museum. This could be confusing for some, and it is important to know that these two schools were separate entities in different locations.
