John Stewart was the father of Duncan Gordon Stewart, grandfather of Duncan Edward Stewart.

James Donald (or Donald James) Stewart, called Jim Stewart, born Nov. 5, 1877, died April 22, 1949(?), remained a bachelor, lived away from home, sometimes in Montreal. Occupation? Possibly worked as a butler or man servant.
Duncan Gordon Stewart, born June 28, 1875, died Oct. 3, 1954, father of Duncan E. Stewart, operated Stewart Brothers business together with his brother Alexander. See file, “Stewart, Duncan Gordon”.
Alexander Newton Stewart (born August 26, 1873, died Sep. 3, 1934), oldest son of John Stewart of Waba. See file: “Stewart, Alex (Waba)”. Remained a bachelor, operated Stewart Brothers business together with brother Duncan G.
John Robertson Stewart, born Dec. 19, 1879, died May 25, 1947, became a medical doctor (Cobden, Toronto). See file “Stewart, John Robertson”.
Andrew Mowat Stewart, born Dec. 16, 1885, died Aug. 12, 1971, twin brother of William, father of Morris Stewart of Waba. Called “Uncle Andy” by the family.

William Gladstone Stewart, born Dec. 16, 1885, died January 1953, twin brother of Andrew. Moved to Trois Rivières, father of Doug Stewart.
John Stewart, born Dec. 21, 1841, died Aug. 27, 1925. Grandfather of Duncan E. Stewart (Waba). Operated the Stewart business in Waba. Son of Alexander Stewart of Borenich, Scotland / Beckwith Township. See file “Stewart, John (Reeve)”.
Elizabeth (Lil) Douglas Stewart, born Dec. 31, 1881, died June 1959, married the Rev. George Brown. They lived in Kingston.
Margaret Stewart nee Robertson, born at Robertson’s Corners on Jan. 3, 1853, died Feb. 13, 1920, wife of John Stewart, grandmother of Duncan E. Stewart of Waba.
