Re the discovery (1975-77) of 11,000-year old bones of Bowhead whales and other species of whales in various locations near White Lake. Gravel pit owned by John Hanson. Allan Jones. Terry Bandy, Glen Bandy of Glasgow Station. These bones were taken to the National Museum of Natural Sciences in Ottawa. “Syne Pit” on Three Mile Bay.
